After serious health challenges, the IRS retiree received both a heart and a liver transplant – two life-saving organs from the same donor. It’s an experience that reshaped how he sees the world and the days he’s been given.

Recovery wasn’t simple, but it brought clarity. At 69, Aundra lives with a deep awareness that his second chance came from an extraordinary act of generosity, and he doesn’t take that lightly.

Today, the Houston resident moves through life with intention – grounded, grateful, and committed to honoring the gift he received in the most human way possible: by truly living.
